Wow… feel it was like yesterday.. i was holding him.. my baby boy..  he turn 6 years old yesterday (8 November 09).. he is still my baby boy…  i will hug and kiss him..and tell him.. no matter how big he is ..  he is still my baby boy.

We make a small celebration at home.. with us, my parents, aunties and cousins. I bought a small cake but we have lots of foods  cooked by mum.. i love her foods… the sayur kampung, ikan masin, sambal udang and chicken soup.

After having the great lunch..washing time.. but..taaraa!! no water.. oh my.. my kitchen sinks full of dirty plates.. i washed everything once they left the house.. and before we got the water supply..well..i wash it in the old fashion way…  using the water we kept.. yaii..poor hands got soak in the water.. now i feel my hands so dry.. applying lotion every minutes.. never mind.

The important thing is …we celebrated Sean’s birthday in a simple way.. with love… love him.. love my baby.

Yipee!! Sean graduated from Kinder.. so next year moving on to primary school… wow..

They held the Graduation Ceremony in Yayasan Sabah  Theatre on Sunday, 25 Oct 2009… combining three Qdees Schools, Damai, Kota Kinabalu and Kingfisher.

Let me just brief you about Qdees …before i registered him to Qdees early this year, i checked a few kindergartens nearby to my office.. i compare prices, the location, the school environment, the programmes…  No doubt that it is a bit expensive than previous kindergarten i sent Sean for two years but i just want to give it a try and see how Sean perform.

I highly recommend Qdees for preschoolers… i can give testimonial if you want me too.

What i love about Qdees.. are the series of storybooks that every students need to finished every end of  each semester…and swimming class… Sean so afraid of water but i see swimming not only good for exercise but also building self confidence.

My hubby unable to attend because he was in KL… so i bring with me my aunt and cousin..but not in the pic..hehe.. and i don’t quit remember why my Chrissa look so angry.

With his class teacher… Teacher Viviana.. i should say she did a great job.. and i am thankful enough for having her as Sean’s teacher… within a year in Qdees… Sean able to read story books Qdees series.

Happy.. performance over… having great time with his sister and getting ready to go home.

Reaching home.. sitting on the floor tiles taking off his shoes… they were exhausted… sleep early that night.  Well..not only them.. i was so tired sitting down and my eyes got tired watching the performances because we were sitted quite far from the stage.  Until then… wait for Chrissa’s turn next year.

We went to bed around 9.30pm last night.. after a few minutes.. we were in the dark.. the whole area was in the dark..there were no electricity.   It was heavy rain and strong wind as well….unfortunately our emergency light/fan still unfixed since.. i cant remember when…  To get air we need to open the window… but only slight open .. we don’t want to get the rain in.. only need some air….  it was windy.. and it sound scary at times.

My children unable to sleep properly.. i had to be their  ‘manual fan’.. using a book as a fan for them… there were times i had to sit.. eyes half open..half close.. with the book in my hand.. being a fan.. making sure my children sleep comfortably.

I really had sleepless night.. i asked my husband what time.. he said 1.00am.. oh my.. few hours to go..but no sign of having the electricity back that soon… how could that be happening on sunday night.

I can’t remember if i had a sleep. .. i remember my daughter wanted to go outside… i know she was uncomfortable.. so we went.. she wanted to watched tv.. i tried to explain.. she still hesitate of watching tv..  well thanks to the barking dogs.. hahah.. i got idea.. i told her that is why the dog bark.. the could not see any lights.. the baby cry because the baby cannot see the mother’s face.. and i go on and on..from cat…and  about other things.. so funny.. but it calm her for a while..and fallen asleep.  Time checked..it was 2.00am … we went back to the room.. i wouldn’t actually remember if i had fallen asleep after that.. i remember i was sitting down looking at them..making sure the sleep well.

I woke up exactly at 5.40am.. still without electricity.. prepared everything.. and drive Sean to school then head to work… feeling sleepy.. lucky i got my 15 minutes nap during lunch time..that will do.

I really hope i will have a good night sleep tonight.. and i really need the emergency fan and light fixtures in case anything like this happened in the future.

I have been staying in this area for 7 years now… it was only a few blocks .. not so many people.  The best thing was i can still hear birds singing.. the breeze was cool.. from the hills…i can still feel like in the kampung… even though the opposite block was under construction at that time…but i don’t realized when it completed and people started coming in and occupied the empty and new apartments.

Now.. i see the management are building a few more apartments, they have new phase on top of the hills and along the way ..where it used to be bushes..  i cannot imagine how jam and cramp this place going to be in the next few years.. once it all completed.  I know few friends staying in our neighborhood… hehe.. and there were times while i drive.. i saw familiar faces..but unable to say ‘hi’.. so i wouldnt know where they stay.  I ever met a college friend.. she is actually stayed near my block..  and who knows..you might be my neighbour!

I assure you that this place are going to be like Beverly Apartments.. crowded and for sure there are going to be apartments for rent in this area as well.   Its a lifestyle to have an apartment of your own.. to stay in or even for rent.. its a good investment.  Well… if ever i have a house in the future.. i will keep my apartment ..thats for sure.

Last Friday evening.. me and my friend Susan .. whom i met from blogging… decided to hang out in CityMall… we meet up around 6.30pm.. and window shopping for a starter..hehe.

We took our dinner in Old Town..  i took Laksa Penang.. it was nice.. yummy…  apa gia ko makan tu zan? hehe.. she took rice with chicken if i’m not mistaken.. looks yummy too… but unfortunately the drink .. wheatgrass..tasted a bit …mmm not so nice lah.

So we decided to have our dessert… ice cream..yihaa.. in VedaBlu..taaraa..

Haiya.. if often eat like this..for sure i need to buy Kettlebells to do my exercise.. especially my tummy.. few lady colleagues asked me how i keep my figure.. haha.. i found it so funny being asked that question.. because.. yes i might have the shape..but they didn’t realize..i got my tummy hiding… hehe.

Last week we had a bad news that my uncle had passed away in Labuan, so my husband thought that we have to be there with our relatives and to pay our last respect.  At first, we were thinking to bring our children along with us but after long discussion we decided to let them stay with the maid and had asked my auntie and her daughter to stay with them over night.

That Friday, we leave the house at 6.00am, it was raining..we drove to menumbok.. reached there at 8.30am.. parked the car nearby which cost RM5 per night.  We were thinking to wait for the Ferry but we just cant wait that long..  a guy convinced us to follow the speedboat instead.. i was reluctant at first.   It was an interesting ride..haha.. its like a joyride.. scary at the same time.. that was my first experience.. within 15minute we were in Labuan.

We searched for a hotel nearby..got a room and went out to take our breakfast… met up my dad, bought flowers..then we went to my auntie’s house until late afternoon, we went back to our room.. rest for a while.. then we went out to shop.. the ‘MUST ITEM’  you need to buy in Labuan are chocolates and liquors … how i wish there are..wholesale products of chocolates.. lol.

Late evening went back to auntie’s house.. have prayer with them.. dinner.. then we went back to our hotel.  We cant wait for the Ferry we decided to use the speedboat again.. by 12.30 we were in Menumbok.. drove to Papar.. took our late lunch and reached home almost 4.00pm.

This was the first ever journey with my hubby without children.. haha.. its like having a short and simple honeymoon.. it is indeed a day with my hubby. I think it is important to have days like this in our life.. to get together, be able to listen and communicate like before.. hehe… just to refresh the memory..

I enjoyed the journey very much… and for sure there going to be more trip like this in the future.
