No Computer Game At The Moment

During the school holiday in KL, Sean did not have the opportunity to play any computer game, he kept on saying he misses home but for sure he misses the game. His examination result was poor compared to the previous exam and we know what made that possible.. its the games. Me and my husband have made a decision that he will not have time to play game.. he will when he know how to adjust and how to focus on his study.. but for now.. No Game!

The action we make, to be strict .. ‘no games’ at the moment is not to punished him but it is the action of love.. we have to do what we have to do.. for his own good.

Our next ‘surprise trip’ will be adventurous.. it will be outdoor, the next trip in the list is KK Wetland.. need to get one of the nikon monarch binoculars i saw on sale the other day… will be doing bird watching.. the activity i have been waiting for.

I will make sure there are plan during the weekend, either library or simply jogging to make him forget the joy of games and make him have interest on other activities. Hopefully this will help him improve in his study and more focus in whatever he does.

Let a Child be a Child

My boy have been busy studying. I am glad i send him to the tution center, he have shown very much improvement in his study. I always make sure he finished his homework in the tution center so that he don’t need to do anything at home after school, i just want him to rest but sometimes he still have unfinished work, he have no choice but to do it at home. I don’t really push him, if he can do i give him praise, if he can’t do, i give him support and let him know he did a good job trying. He is learning..and i want him to know that education is important and its fun.. learning is enjoy and fun.. i don’t want him to make learning as a burden or stressful.

While learning is important, playing are a must!.. playing is where they create their imagination and creativity. He also like to play games online but i am controlling his time because he is visual, so every time he play games he will think more on the games rather than what he read or learn. I have no choice but to control him, i even have to hide the laptop and also the broadband. .. poor boy. He still dream of having his own ps3 games, which i will give him once he know how to focus on his study.

I let him play on his own, he pretend himself as a karate kid, he jump, kick.. as long as he’s happy.. and sweat..its ok and as long as he doesn’t hurt himself. I also let him help me in the kitchen, let them try everything they want to do… don’t kill their curiosity but i of course with your guidance.

We usually jog once a week, if not in the park.. just at our place..as long as my children walk and sweat a bit. There will activity for my children at least once a week or once in every two weeks.. they will looking forward for that moment.. always a surprise for them..even a visit to my aunty’s home is a surprise… its fun!

Let them enjoy their childhood.. learning, playing and having lots of fun! They will cherish this forever.

My Son’s First School Bus Ride

Everybody wants the best for their children, especially in education and in terms of security in every aspect. Most mothers are very protective and sensitive on their children needs and for that reason picking him from school everyday and sending him to daycare for tuition have been my routine since early this year and which have been my reason for my quick weight loss all this while.

I had to make a hard decision when i found out that his tuition teacher had transferred and yet to find a replacement. I found out that there are a tuition somewhere near the school, a teacher come to get their students from the school itself but they have to follow the school bus which i never thought i wanted my son to be in.

Maybe i am over protected and scared that my son can’t handle the situation, the first day my son joined the tuition, i went into the school compound, parking as usual in hoping to see how is his reaction. I drive slowly when i saw the school bus, i was hoping to see him without he sees me but when the bus drove in front, my son was looking at me with his surprise face.. his face just says ‘ why mummy?’.. that face was just so sad to see.. i realized i was in tears.. ya.. i was crying.. lucky i was wearing my dark glasses..but i just smile, wave at him and give him flying kiss.

I tailed the school bus until they reached the destination, i was crying while driving.. . I managed to take picture from my hand phone… i am not sure if you can see him.. he was looking at me from the back seat.. huhu.

First day in tuition, he did not take his lunch, maybe he was hoping and waited for me to get him but luckily the day after that, he can adjust with the situation and that just make me proud of him. I hope he will be able to learn and communicate mandarin with his friends and teachers.

When you worry, no problem can be solved but when you try to solve a problem, you don’t have to worry anymore!

Prayer for My Son

I thank you lord for giving me a normal son even though he is really active.. really active that i almost fainted when ran without waiting to be hold.. ran into the busy parking lot and moving vehicles.

I thank you lord for sending angels to protect him.. he ran so fast that i cannot even see where he was going.. and when i saw him..he was crossing the deep drain and next thing i know he was at the roadside.. still calling my name..while running. All i can do is pray hard.. and i shout my lungs out for his name to come back to me.

I thank you lord for sending him back to me.. safely.. and i did not scolded him i hugged him.. i was so afraid he will do that again.

I need you lord to give me strength to handle him.. according to your way.. with patience and love..

I need you lord to give me wisdom on how to get the right medication according to what we belief..the prayer.

It have been hard sometimes.. stressful and exhausted dealing with this situation..almost took herbal phentermine to calm myself but i have strong determination and believe that he will change..at least a bit focus and relax.

A child don’t see danger..to them having fun is the greatest feeling..and exploring is what the do best!

Let Them Show Their Funny Faces

There were times.. i feel like i cannot handle a situation with my children.. especially…

when my children ask too much… i just wish they stop asking..simply because i don’t have any answer for their questions anymore….

when they were playing.. i just want them to sit quietly..

when they fight over a notebook computer i just wish they can share and play together..

Sometimes when they fight with each other about something or whatever.. i will be their referee… sometimes i just let them solve it on their own.. indeed after they fight.. they will laugh and play again.

I remember when me and my siblings were young.. we use to fight.. and laugh.. oh its just fun!..

I think i just let them be like us..when we were young..let them have the wonderful memories with their siblings.. that is the process of learning.. for our children..and for us.. parents.. how we share…we love.. and we care for each other.

Lets enjoy looking at the naughty..and funny faces of our children…when they grow up..it will be different.

Despite of their funny faces.. a mother only need to see their smile to make the whole day worth while.

Fever…Go Away!

Time check.. its 2:28am.. i couldn’t sleep.. i have been checking on my little girl who is having fever.. her fever showing no improvement since yesterday.. the problem is ..she don’t want to take her medication.. i have use all my tacticts ..from slow talk to aggresive action..well you know..have to force her to open her mouth.. gosh..that’s hard.

It was just last week..on Tuesday.. the time i pick up my son from school.. i saw his face so pale and walking as if he going to faint anytime… i had to carry him to the car..and my other hand carry his heavy bag..poor baby.. everybody was looking at me… and i was having my pms on that day.. emotionally and physically disturbed…mmm poor me.

Yeah..its started last week..when my son had a fever.. viral infection …that’s what the doctor said.. and then last Friday..my husband had cold and fever… and just this monday i was on leave..my little girl had her fever… but after given her paracetamol she was ok..the next day when sending them to daycare.. i can feel her warm body… i went to work.. updated schedule for my bos.. after an hour i left the office, took my children from daycare and straight to the clinic..this is our first visit to a clinic… so here i am.. the second day of my leave… at home looking after my children.

I always make sure my children take their multivitamin and drink plenty of water every day just like me taking my prenatal vitamins during pregnancy… but what can i say..blame it on the hot weather.. even now …at this moment i can smell something like bush burning somewhere…we really need the rain to come down.

We..mother did all we can to protect our children from getting sick.. don’t blame yourself if they get sick..blame it on the weather…its easier.

My nephews and niece came back from Australia.. my brother doing his research while family taking the opportunity ..holiday…this picture were taken during Christmas last year…

It has been two years they have not meet each other.. so when they met.. havoc…if you want to slimquick…you can take care of them.. for a day….

The girls.. the voice.. i tell you.. like a trumpet.. echoing to your ear… if they scream for the whole day.. and you dont make them stop… side effect.. buli tuli telinga…..anyway.. they are my great inspirations.

My indian and chinese.. haha… Chrissa and Bridget.. they love posing in front of the camera…

The boys… well you know when they in the team.. Ultraman.. the elder.. Dawson.. the two best buddies.. Daniel and Sean.

They had great fun time together.. now they are back to Australia.. huhu.. sadly for my kids.. missing them already.

Naughty, Smart, Active children.. are Normal Children.. don’t let them change..they will change on their own.. just teach them good behavior and have faith in God.

The Sunset

How nice to look at the sunset…saying goodbye to the day….no more daylight..it will be darkness of the night but thanks to the moon.for giving us light at night.. the next day it will be day and night again.. its just the circle of days..months…and years.

We took this picture last weekend.. at the Tanjung Aru Beach.. sunset almost went down..we were late.. but still enjoying the day..

Chrissa and Sean had a walk on the sea..got wet in the water.. and dirty themselves with the sand.. who can’t resist that?..its just a while but getting them back is another story..you know what i mean..and it can be one of the diets that work … just walk.. get rid of the extra kilos.

The starting.. it was just a small little steps… but after awhile…they want to go further…so scary.. i don’t really like sea its scared me.. one of the reasons is i can’t swim..and i was once almost drown when i was a little girl.. just walking should be ok.

After having the walk… we took our dinner at one of the stalls…it was great.. will do that again.

Enjoying today.. because tomorrow will never be the same!

This Little Prayer of Mine

Last week, I have received an email from Anthony, promoting his new book ‘This Little Prayer of Mine’.. .. the title of the book makes me want to get hold of the book as soon as possible. I wanted to purchase the book directly from him..but instead he asked for my mailing address.

Yesterday i was so excited… receiving a parcel from US…. guess what.. its the book…and signed by the author himself.. so nice of him… i feel honored.

It is indeed a nice book… come with a hard cover and cute cover picture … . easily attract children to get hold of it.

The content are simple but meaningful… with its rhymes and illustrations.. it makes it easy for children to understand.

Thank you Anthony, my children loves it very much.. not only them.. i love it.

This Little Prayer of Mine… i recommend this book as a MUST HAVE .. book for every family.. it teaches children to have faith in God, to be thankful, to share with others who are in need, to respect others, asking God to guide them.. ask God to comfort them when they’re sad… its a wonderful book.

If children read this every night before they go to sleep.. they will know ..and trust that God is always be with them.. a simple prayer with meaningful wordings .. great for children.

To me as a mother, i love having it… children can be a fat burner when they are out of control…they can make you emotionally and physically stress.. this book teaches them how to turn to God.. we can remind them to pray.. .. make them pause and think for their action.

Get your own This Little Prayer of Mine it is not only a little prayer for my children but also a blessing.

I know you’re up in heaven, God,

We make good decision when we let God guide us… lets start teaching our children to pray..to have faith and trust in God..may our children grow up.. let God guide them..in choosing the right path.

Apple Jelly

I posted about the jellete set ..a tupperware products… i bought it.. and made apple jelly… easy weasy..hehe. When you know you have safety products and food prepare your own.. you know its hygenic and safe for the family.

What you need is ..

Gelatin or jelly (any products) i use Western Family, Strawberry flavor.

An apple (cut it into small cube)

Mix the gelatin with water.. (follow the instruction given).. meanwhile put the apple in each jellete container (depending how many you like).. ..

Then pour in the gelatin in the jellete container.. and keep it in the refregirator … after few hours.. until it ready.. you know when its ready.

Once its cold.. it become jelly.. yummy.. yummy.. you kids will enjoy it.. mine did.

Let me surf for other healthy recipes and try it on the jellete set… i will let you guys informed for the latest recipe.
