I was requested to give a motivation talk for students preparing for their exam in Kokol, Menggatal on 16 September. Kokol? i heard about this place so many times.. i heard about the road going there.. its high.. some says worse than the road going to Ranau. Few days before the retreat, my hubby drive me there.. we were surprise of the existence of such beautiful place with beautiful scenery… but even though it was beautiful, i got headache and fever that night.
I was thinking..how am i going to drive to Kokol? My husband will be working … Well..i am going there to motivate this students.. before giving them the motivation..i should motivate myself.. indeed i did… i even conquered my own fear of driving on the high road.. with snake curve.. Even though the road is scary at times but the beauty of the place motivates me to reach my destination.
There are so many beautiful scenery but my niece was so dizzy to take pictures.. some of the picture can used as template for holiday cards… or any post cards.
I drove to Kokol with my cousin and her friends… check out the picture of the journey….
I love this ..name this animal?.. 🙂
Where are you heading in life? If you know what do you want in life.. what do you want to achieve..then you will know which road to take.
But if don’t know what you want.. you can just take any road.. it doesn’t matter anywhere.
Most of us know what we want.. we start visualizing as if we were there.. and this is a great self motivation. If you feel your journey is a long distance journey, know the obstacle and challenges..and learn to overcome it. If you failed once, doesn’t mean you will fail again.. you will fail if you give up.
Believe in yourself, nobody will.. people will support you but some will tend to tell you to ‘give up’. Imagine a beautiful place, clean air and water.. its a virgin land you wanted to be there.. but it is a long journey.. but you want to be there.. will you reach that destination?
You visualize, you plan your journey .. what next? wait and see?.. you can’t reach the place without action can’t you?.. believe in yourself and start with the little steps.. without any steps you can go anywhere.
Let me know when you’re there!
All the best on your journey…
Being in my 30s makes me realize i am not young anymore and preparing myself for aging. It is indeed scary especially when you see yourself in the mirror.. looking closer at your skin.. you see more wrinkles, pigmentation, changes of skin textures and it is not firmer anymore.
I understand we cannot stop aging unless we use modern technology to slow it down… using injection or cosmetic surgery.. but no matter how we want to slow it down… sooner or later we will get old.
Accepting the fact that we are aging… appreciating the moment.. not to worry to much thinking how we going to look in the next few years.. continue taking care of your skin, use mud soap it help restore the skin, drink plenty of water, eat more green and colorful fruits.
Keep your youthful thinking and stay young at heart… think as if you are in your 20s but wiser. Show more confident and be positive!
Smile! don’t worry if it gives more wrinkles but the more you smile.. the more beautiful you are and the younger you be.
Regards, and happy aging.
