Gong Xi Fa Chai.. to all of you  celebrating Chinese New Year!..whatever root of Chinese you are from…. My great grandmother is a Chinese..    does that still make me a chinese..or half chinese?

This year we are welcoming the year of the Tiger..this is my year.. some predicted this year economy will be good..some say it get worse… they only predict.. but we make it happen..how we want this year to be is up to us.. but things like natural disaster cannot be avoided.  The only thing we need to do is..plan, act..and make it happen.. but always have God to guide us.

I love Chinese New Year… but the only things that bother me is the sound of the firecrackers at night.. this few days..i have sleepless night..i never forget to put on my eye and wrinkle creams before i got to bed.. because i never get a proper sleep..not until the celebrations over…  my children love the fireworks though.. it is so beautiful.. you can forget about the loud sound.. the fireworks is just magic.

Wow.. almost end of November.. soon its the month we have been waiting for… December… its Christmas…yihaaa!

Those days..when i was young..hehe.. i mean in the primary school time.. i love Christmas simply because of Santa Claus, the Children Party, the presents and new dress…when i was a teenager… i still look forward on buying new dress from myself… what to wear.. my hair style.. overall is the appearance. .. i know what celebrating Christmas is all about..yet only that day itself i give myself totally ..concentrate in church.. after that.. joining my friends attending the Christmas invitations.

But now..when i got married.. its my children’s turn to get excited.. about Christmas..presents..christmas trees.. shopping complexes simply because of the decoration.. my daughther hint what gift she wants for christmas… as usual.. Barbie doll..well.. i might give her something else.

Oh dear, oh dear Christmas is near.. i got to get ready gifts for my children, nephews and nieces… need to go shopping… well Christmas is only once a year.. what important is the meaning of chrismas.

What a Hari Raya this year.. hubby got to work.. i am all alone with kids..its being 4 days being fully housewife.. haha.. tired, fun, interesting at the same time.. try to do practical on  my theory on how to handle kids…. few tips succeed but need to try again..again..and again… but need to change the tactic or else they will know its just a trick.. phew.. anyway… what else a mother could asked for now… is rest!

The only house i managed to visit this year is at Anies… another blogger who became my friend.. ..my children were excited.. going for Hari Raya.. Chrissa wanted to wear her punjab suit.. sempat ambil gambar before going..hehe.

Its easy to find her house.. after going up and down the hill.. ..situated at a peaceful place…. can still feel the kampung.. nice.. if i have a las vegas deals for sure i build my house as soon as possible.. haha there i go with my daydreaming again.   That what i called a home sweet home..i personally like the house design.. simple, cosy..  have the warm welcome.. not only the house but the garden.. it is so inviting..great job Anies and hubby!

We had great time visiting Anies and family… thanks guys… well my kids were enjoying themselves…. after spending hour there..we visited CTMall.. as usual Sean and Chrissa wants to buy books in Popular.

Wow… i can’t believe it.. its August.. soon its going to be fasting month for our muslim friends…another 3 months to Christmas.

Few of my colleagues are in KL attending course .. well for sure they choose to go in August.. it is indeed the mega sale all over Malaysia.. but KL is the best place for shopping when you are there at the right time and place.

I usually pick August to back to KL but this year we went back early.. hopefully next year we will go back in August… Sean will be in primary one next year.. so have to wait for school holiday.

All my siblings will be celebrating their birthday in August.. my brother in 14, my elder sister in 29 and my younger sister in 31st August.  Its all happening in August.. how sweet.. missing them so much.

I wanted to post about this but i was having problem loading the pictures…. even though its few days late but love to share it with you guys.  On Monday, we went to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (or Lokkawi Zoo) which is located at old Penampang-Papar road, about 15km from Kota Kinabalu city.  It open daily from 9.30 am-5.30 pm.. its a nice place to visit with family especially during school holiday or weekend.

We arrived at 10.30 am.. my family plus my nephew Gerard.. kids got so excited.. picture taken .. beginning of our journey.. chrissa still have time to give her best pose.

Admiring the elephants.. there were playing while bathing .. so cute.. i caught it in my video camera.. other visitors also using their camcorders to capture the moment.

There are so many to see..the Borneo and Malaysia wild animals such as orang utan, proboscis monkey, Asian elephant, rhino, hornbill birds, tiger, etc.

Almost at the end of the journey, Sean keep going strong..checking on the map..on what animal to see next.. while Chrissa can’t go on.. ‘mummy, i want susu’.. hehe.. she got so tired..she can’t walk..and neither do i.. too heavy to carry her.   We were there for 2 hours i guess and I just realized that we didn’t take photo of my husband aka the cameraman.. too busy taking others.. but i got him in the video but problem downloading.

Anyway, it was a nice, interesting, informative, tiring trip.. we were exhausted.. reaching home..clean up..everybody..sleep like a baby.

While everybody still sleeping, i have to wake up early..waiting for my cousin, Elenora to come at 5.00am..

She and her best friend, Glenda joining the choir and will be going to sing in KDCA on that day… they asked me to do their make up.. so i did…

I have been trying to upload their picture before make up.. but cannot lah..i just give up..  few nice pose here.. the three best friends.

My little sister… well i simply called her that..because she is the youngest.  She just left for Australia and communicate with her via ym this morning.

Our siblings are close with each other, we help each other in many ways.   My sister is still single so she wants to explore the outside world.. she is adventurous young lady who love challenges.

She was so excited to explore… and let her fulfilled her dreams… she took with her ephedra supplements for immunization.  I will update the pics during the farewell party and at the airport.

I love the month of May… and love that Labour Day falls on friday..so we got straight three days off…except for those working on shift or weekend.. this includes my hubby…mmm what to do.  Anyway.. couples taking this advantages to tie their knot during this weekend.. until we dont know where to go first..lol.

It will be special day for Mothers… its Mother’s day… i am still thinking..what, where, how to celebrate mother’s day.. i still have time to think and plan.. talk about that later.

Okay..our reunion with my best friends postponed again..with certain unavoided matters…haiya..don’t know lah when can we meet up..  I send my children to my parents’ house so that i can go out in the evening… instead i was alone at home.. so sunyi..but i managed to sort out their clothes and keep their small size/unwanted clothes in a bag.. i kept it somewhere..still thinking..to just keep it for a while or give away.

Anyway…May is the month where Sabahan have the most holidays in the calendar.. similar to all Malaysian but we have the Kaamatan or Harvest Festival.   May are one of the Peak Seasons.. so its hard to see economy hotels promotions during this month …if you really want to come to Sabah in May… i advice you to book your flight/hotel early to avoid paying extra.

May are full of colourful celebrations..every district will celebrate their Kaamatan and to crown their beauty gueen and these beautiful ladies will then contest in the final round on the 31st May … there you will see the new Hominodun .. Harvest Festival Beauty Queen. I dont really update with kaamatan these days..but i love to promote our ethnic and festivals to the eye of the world…come in May..you know what i mean.

Saturday.. we were at home… my job as usual.. packing… packing…phew.. kids were excited… Chrissa have been asking me when we going home.. she misses her ‘pooh..the pillow’.

Saying goodbye was the hardest part..especially to my Father in law… but for sure we will be going back there for another holiday…maybe next time we will take my fil back to Melacca and stay in any historic hotels, that would be interesting.

Thank you Aunty Grace for taking care of us while our stay there…. i am sure missed your cooking…

Our flight was at 6.00pm, my brother in-law drove us to the airport.. had our dinner there….it was good to be at the night flight i guess…because the kids got tired and able to sleep.

We reach KK around 9.00pm… my sister and niece were waiting for us… reached our Home Sweet Home… clean up..and straight to bed..zzzzz.  My parents were kind enough to clean up my house while we were away… thanks mum & dad..and sherene…love you guys.

Friday… the only day left to do our rounding in KL… actually we just wanted to go to Masjid India to buy few things but my husband made a wrong turning.. and it is the route to KL Bird Park… so why not go there….

KL Bird Park… the entrance fees are affordable… it is a big area… kinda tiring but interesting…

rest for a while… eat ice cream… yummy yummy.. it was great on a hot ..sunny day..

The best part was at the World of Parrots..my kids love it..

phew…what an interesting and tiring day…

CHRISSA MARIE’S 3RD BIRTHDAY…

That evening we celebrated..Chrissa Marie’s Birthday… her birthday should be on 4 April..but since we going home on that day..so we celebrated her birthday a day earlier….

It was great.. our first party with our relatives in KL … interesting…
