Have you ever sit down in your living room.. thinking if you could change something?.. maybe color, new paint.. to change the scenario.. or wall paper or just wall sticker.. anything as long as there will be different.

You might need to rearranged of your living room for a change. Why not change the cushion covers or the curtains?

Get rid of all decors or send your valuable antigues to the antique hardware reproductions for polish and fixing.

But if you love the way it looks now..why change? As long as you feel comfortable, cozy and really feels at home.. stay the way it is. Home is not how it looks to others but how you feel happy to be home with your family.

I went to a shopping complex with my family, i saw a shop selling a wall sticker with 20% discount and they are also a designer furniture. I ever seen this shop selling this wall stickers before but i don’t really bother until yesterday. It look so cool, so i bought 3 stickers. Today i stick 2 walls, the master bedroom with the birds and leaves and my kids’ room with cute giraffes. Still ‘thinking where to stick the flowers and butterflies.. husband warned no sticking on the living room.

It’s not easy to peel, especially if its small … but once its stick on the wall.. wow! look so nice.. Depending on your theme, or picture of the wall sticker..it will make your room so lively.. and interesting.

If you want to make a change..try wall stickers.

Make an old sofa new

I have been thinking to change my sofa set but i am still using the same … old sofa set… just sad to let it go.. huhu. The sofa set is still in good condition but the only problem is the cushion is thin. I have change the cushion cover but i still need to repair the cushion.. oh i have been saying this for i don’t know how many times already. And i am still thinking its wasting money to change the sofa set. I have learn there is another way to make it look new.. that is using the chair slipcover, what i need to do is repair the cushion and just use the slipcover to make it look nice and new.

Well.. i hope its worth it.. just try it first..if its not how i expected it to look.. i might just go to plan B.. buy a new set.. and finish i with it.

A Space For Creativity

I just feel so relieve that i managed to clear clusters in the small room we have at home. I have been trying to get it arranged for so many years. It have been a junky room.. all the tools boxes, magazines, unfilled documents, recycle papers are all in there.. it was just a mess..until few weeks ago with the help of my mum preparing lunch.. ..i really managed to cleared it without disturbance from my children. Tools boxes packed and kept on the top shelf.. toys kept in boxes.. unwanted toys, documents.. boxes.. were thrown.

My husband help me rearranging the study table, cabinet.. our pink sofa. I called the room the office @ reading room… we even put in chrissa and sean’s cabinet books in. We arranged the laptop, speaker, cds, scanner.. the only important thing missing is the printer… I really need to get one of the epson printers on sale this weekend. Once i get that printer… it will be easier for me to do my work.

Hopefully the new clean environment can create creative ideas in my work.

To Repair Or Change :(

Oh again my sofa, it seems like never ending story. I wanted to buy a new sofa set but if i think about it, the sofa is still in a good condition the only problem is the cushions it is so thin, when you sit you can feel your bump touching the wood. My sofa looks so terrible and uncomfortable. But i don’t know when i want to go to a cushion shop to get a new one or get this one repair. So today while on our way back from my parents house, we stop at Chan Furniture just to check new furniture, the latest style and survey the price. Well not much choice and the price don’t really match the quality.

What really attract customers is the colors of the sofa and cushion, maybe i will search for a log furniture instead, it have a country’s style, just add colorful cushion covers, i am sure it will look trendy.

I know i need to make up my mind, but before i decide, i need to survey and compare. Also need a time frame to do this, or else i will posting the same story next time.

Garden Fish Pond

After few times postponed.. my husband decided to clean up his aquarium last Sunday.. oh what a relieved for the fishes…i can imagine the how the fishes feels… gladly..they can breath enough and clean oxygen. My husband loves fishes…his dream are to make a garden pond for fishes..huhu sure he need to have pond algae control to maintain the garden pond. Well..he have to wait till we move to a house .. i can’t wait for the fish pond.. i am sure he will make an interesting garden fish pond..he have the skills to do it..he loves landscaping.. the only thing now is space.. so got to wait for that.

I saw this pic from earth-n-waterlandscapes.com.. im sure my husband would love this as his inspiration.

My family would love to sit and watch the wishes swims!

Learn to Recycle

I am trying to do my part in saving the planet earth… i am learning to reduce the use of plastic bags by using shopping bag to the supermarket. I need to get a few of the bags, i need to keep in the car, in case i forget and in my handbag.. there are promotional bags on sale, so better grab it now.

If you going for groceries.. you might need this bag.. its bigger.

You can fold this and put in your handbag, no more plastic bags.

Last Sunday, me and my hubby just get rid of two big plastic bags full of plastics, papers, toys and it was heavy..we send it to recycle and they gave us RM1.50 from that… hahaha. .next time i just leave it there.. its worth more than that.. i feel better to leave it there than to throw it in the garbage bin and destroying the environment.

We have to act now, for the sake of our children and the new generations..save the Planet!

The Longest Night Ever

We went to bed around 9.30pm last night.. after a few minutes.. we were in the dark.. the whole area was in the dark..there were no electricity. It was heavy rain and strong wind as well….unfortunately our emergency light/fan still unfixed since.. i cant remember when… To get air we need to open the window… but only slight open .. we don’t want to get the rain in.. only need some air…. it was windy.. and it sound scary at times.

My children unable to sleep properly.. i had to be their ‘manual fan’.. using a book as a fan for them… there were times i had to sit.. eyes half open..half close.. with the book in my hand.. being a fan.. making sure my children sleep comfortably.

I really had sleepless night.. i asked my husband what time.. he said 1.00am.. oh my.. few hours to go..but no sign of having the electricity back that soon… how could that be happening on sunday night.

I can’t remember if i had a sleep. .. i remember my daughter wanted to go outside… i know she was uncomfortable.. so we went.. she wanted to watched tv.. i tried to explain.. she still hesitate of watching tv.. well thanks to the barking dogs.. hahah.. i got idea.. i told her that is why the dog bark.. the could not see any light fixtureslights.. the baby cry because the baby cannot see the mother’s face.. and i go on and on..from cat…and about other things.. so funny.. but it calm her for a while..and fallen asleep. Time checked..it was 2.00am … we went back to the room.. i wouldn’t actually remember if i had fallen asleep after that.. i remember i was sitting down looking at them..making sure the sleep well.

I woke up exactly at 5.40am.. still without electricity.. prepared everything.. and drive Sean to school then head to work… feeling sleepy.. lucky i got my 15 minutes nap during lunch time..that will do.

I really hope i will have a good night sleep tonight.. and i really need the emergency fan and light fixtures in case anything like this happened in the future.

Spring Cleaning

Continuation from my previous post.. things were not missing but misplaced.. i hate that.. wasting time and energy.

I guess it is high time to do spring clean.. moreover its 4 months before end of the year…what..? oh ya.. its 4 months to go.. wow… I have been keeping junk here and there.. old bills.. unwanted documents, oh.. i need NJ junk removal to get rid of all these.

I am thinking on when should i do this.. i want to have my maid of course but without my children.. mmm have to think who can baby sit them for a day… it would be easier without children at home. I don’t want them to get dust.. and need to concentrate on cleaning anyway.

Spring cleaning once a year.. not only the house.. but also getting rid of unwanted clothes.. mmm.. i’m thinking of the right time of spring cleaning… hopefully cleaning the house.. will get good feng shui..hehe.

I remember once i can’t decide whether to buy oven or microwave.. well.. i just that in my thought for a while.. now i am thinking of buying a steamer…lol.

Haiya so many things i need now.. but the most important thing is to paint my kid’s room..its is now have interesting colour.. green and yellow and with addition of my kid’s sketch, showing their creativity.. i mean its okay..but too much..and it looks dirty… mmm thinking what colour suit their room. My Handy Manny will find his time to do the painting…hehe.. for sure.

Need to re-decorate my room, update my wardrobe.. get rid of that unwanted clothes, need to buy another cabinet for my books/files.., new cushion covers.. haiya..so many oh.

Oh ya.. apart from all the above what i really need is the home alarm systems … that is the important thing i need now.. in case.. touch wood! after a few incident last year that happened at my neighbor in the ground floor and another at the other block.. i guess need to start do my survey.
