But what about to motivate somebody who feels down or stress? what can you really do? the best is to listen..without any solution first..let them do the talking..you just listen.  People who are having problem loves to share and sometimes they don’t want you to answer..they just want you to lend them your ears.. that is why God gives us two ears and one mouth.. to listen more and talk less.

Let me share one motivational book by best selling author  Mr. Anthony DeStefano.   As always i am so honored and proud to received this book from the author himself.

I Just Can’t Take It Anymore! a simple yet wonderful motivational book… printed with beautiful pictures of children and big printed letters.  Not only it is great for a gift for adults and can be a wonderful gift for children.. to understand life can be difficult sometimes but if we appreciate and understand why it happens .. you can enjoy life more.

Few sample pictures that are wonderful.. and it is really great.  I recommend you to buy few copies of this books, you can give it as a gift but you have to keep a copy for yourself too.

I was asked by Youth Prep Center to be part of their Crossroad program in Pukak, Kiulu 21-23 October 2011.  My honor to be part of youths and in helping them finding their path in career.

Sharing my knowledge to youths is part of my goal, besides helping them i also get the chance to have my ‘me’ time.  I had time to be away from my work for awhile.. and the stress at home..haha.. even for a day.. everybody deserves that ‘time out’.

It will not complete without asking them to ‘move’.. to the music.. well the floor are as alloc original, no problem to be the dance floor.

Oh ya..  we use the word ‘WHATEVER’  a lot.. for certain interesting reasons… To me after saying ‘WhatEver’..as a phrase with them.. is not only a words..but become a sweet memory..whenever i heard or i say ‘Whatever’.. it reminds me of that great days with them.

I am doing lots of program, will do lots of training for teenagers and will start our Kids Fun & Learning program this Saturday – 14 May 2011.

This show is inspiring… especially us.. adults.. and i just admired each one of these contestants.. for their talent, determination, passion and love for foods.  I am so proud of them.. they really know what they are doing.

If any of my children have passion for cooking.. i dare not stop them.. because this is a skills of a lifetime.

After watching this show ..it makes me want to try my skills..and i heard le creuset sale online …need to get new pan to get me motivated.

While learning is important, playing are a must!.. playing is where they create their imagination and creativity.  He also like to play games online but i am controlling his time because he is visual, so every time he play games he will think more on the games rather than what he read or learn.  I have no choice but to control him, i even have to hide the laptop and also the broadband. .. poor boy. He still dream of having his own ps3 games, which i will give him once he know how to focus on his study.

I let him play on his own, he pretend himself as a karate kid, he jump, kick.. as long as he’s happy.. and sweat..its ok and as long as he doesn’t hurt himself.  I also let him help me in the kitchen, let them try everything they want to do… don’t kill their curiosity but i of course with your guidance.

We usually jog once a week, if not in the park.. just at our place..as long as my children walk and sweat a bit.  There will activity for my children at least once a week or once in every two weeks.. they will looking forward for that moment.. always a surprise for them..even a visit to my aunty’s home is a surprise… its fun!

Let them enjoy their childhood.. learning, playing and having lots of fun!  They will cherish this forever.

I hope i can really get it done during my leaves.. or else..need to take another day off to set up my home office.. till then..another chores waiting.

I am one of the luckiest people to have received and read Anthony DeStefano’s new book.. ‘Little Star’.. and feel very honor to do review for this wonderful book.   This is to the second book  written by Anthony.. that i have read.. he is such a gifted writer.  My children loves both his books.

Have you ever wonder why we put a star on top of the Christmas tree? Do you know what that means?.. what that star symbolize to our faith?.. You want to know why? well grab this book..because  I feel it is more interesting if you could have the book and read it because it is so wonderful to read it yourself rather than to read it from other people’s  review.

You need to get proper exercise and physical activities to get us ready in dealing with and overcoming conditions such as depression, stress, anxiety, low confidence and low self-esteem. Get yourself mentally ready, go for a fitness program that provide training, support, advice, motivation. By doing so, you will gain the additional benefit of having a focus, a positive experience and a real sense of achievement.

Same goes in life.. everybody wants to be successful.. to be rich..to be powerful… to be known.. or in other word simply to be somebody. But to achieve that goal in life, there are challenges we need to face, sacrifices we need to take and it is not easy but it is possible if we are willing to do it.

Start with something small, maybe you want to lose weight. As easy as its sound, but if it were really that simple, none of us would have weight problem, would we? Weight loss can be such struggle when we start thinking we have to do something drastic to see results, such as diets, exercise routine or tempted to take any pills or buy any fitness gadgets on tv commercial that promise instant success.

Just like climbing the mountain, we start with little steps.. one step at a time.. slowly and take it easy. To lose weight, you can start with dietary supplements for weight loss and control your food intake, then you can start with your routine exercise.

You might also need to learn how to calculate your BMR (basal metabolic rate). Your BMR is what your body needs to maintain normal functions like breathing and digestion. This is the minimum number of calories you need to eat each day. Calculate your activity level. Use a calorie calculator to figure out how many calories you burn while sitting, standing, exercising, lifting weights, etc. throughout the day. It helps to keep a daily activity journal or you could even wear a heart rate monitor that calculates calories burned.

To achieve any goals in life, i believe we need to learn, plan and act. When you start taking little steps eventually you will reach the top. Trying is better than not doing anything.

My first move was  to learn Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP)  which i wasn’t sure where it leads me.  So now, graduated as a NS-NLP Practitioner, what should i do next? Should i just stop here?  I love talking to people, sharing and helps them where i can, i am blessed that i can easily relate to their problems or emotions.  Having NLP is like an extra skills that enable me to read their emotions and help them in their issues.  Who should i help? I remember i was chatting with my long lost cousin and she have her own tution center for secondary school,  i told her about what i have learned.  She was so interested and asked me to come and willing to give her students as my ‘quinea pig‘.

I did  ‘one to one’ with them,  there were not  willing to open up at first but after  naturally let their emotions out after they feel relaxed and confident talking to me.   One or two girls did not ready to share,  i know they are still hiding something.. well just give them time.. I am sure they will opened up when they really are ready.

But having have time talking to these teenage girls reminds me of myself, i then have ideas on what or where i am heading to in this.  My passion is to help others, so i decided i start helping teenagers.  Teenagers trust strangers more than their own parents, they willing to open up to strangers rather then their own relatives.  I have been through that stages and now it is time for me to assist them in whatever areas they need to know.  Doing NLP to teenagers are an interesting experience because they accepted the idea very fast and their imagination are strong and very creative.

I have few issues that i heard from five girls , just to summarize their issues :  facing problem focusing in  study because she keep thinking about her boyfriend all the time (even her boyfriend in the same class),  having problems with their mothers, problems with friends, identity and  rejection.

Teenagers are trying to create their own personality, this is the stages that they have to be careful, they will want to try so many things.. which may harm them.  Teenage girls are easily attracted to diet pills without checking the lipofuze side effects, they willing to try anything to look sexy and beautiful than others, well they are always competition.

They are two types of teenagers, the ‘who know everything’ well just assist and guide them, and the other one is ‘don’t know everything’ ..so we need to teach and help them.

The best part is they look forward to seeing me again, the passion of helping teenagers drives me to learn more and their happy  smile is my rewards and their words of appreciations  means so much to me.
