How I Wasted Time In The Morning

Aug-17-2008 By shirley

This will start my headache early in the morning, especially when my children started their nonsense. It takes them 15 minute instead of only 5 minute to go down the stairs.

I just let them take their sweet time, i can’t do much but sometimes its really make lost my patience especially whenever i was late to work. Its easier and quicker if i carry Chrissa down but she want to go down on her own, sing and dance at the same time, for Sean, if he is not in good mood, he will sit on the stair or do some ultraman action while walking down. It really wasting my time.. phew..  This is where my time wasted in the morning besides the jam on the road.

Maybe i need to give each of them new pocket watches, give them responsibilities and check who is the fastest, not a competition actually just to make my life easier.

Market Trip

Aug-14-2008 By shirley

I always look forward for Wednesday, its my husband’s off day.  Its the day where i can be a bit relax and the time when my husband will cook us dinner, kids just love it, we will have more than 2 dishes on the dining table instead of only soup and another simple recipe by mummy.

Hubby bought chicken and vegetables from donggongon market, phew…thanks a lot dear, its easier to shop without children. Last week, i had no choice but to bring Chrissa with me to the market, i only spent RM3.00 for these vegetables but it was quite heavy for me to carry in the plastic bags and holding Chrissa at the same time.

Imagine have to look after my children walking on the stairs and at the same time holding few plastic bags in your hand juggling with it, ahhh.. pity my fingers.   I really need  to replace these plastic bags to the mesh grocery bags that are made of cotton mesh woven from strong sting.

I really love to have these design, not only it reusable later but i just love the design is so cool.  I will definately get this style.  So my next trip to the market will be easier.

She Is Still My Baby Girl

Aug-13-2008 By shirley

My baby girl grow up so fast in front of my eyes, i can’t believe she is now 2 years 3 months old.

She just love her picture to be taken.

When she was a baby, she listen to me but now she want me to listen to her… oh dear!.   I no more sending her to the babysitter but to Taska  Sunflower, besides being taken care of she also can learn so many things including musics which she loves most of all.  I am  happy that i don’t need to buy disposable diaper for her, my expenses are more on her education and other things.

Sometimes she just act like a grown up… well of course she so grown up but she is still my baby girl.

Ultraman In Action

Aug-12-2008 By shirley

I have been talking about Ultraman in my previous post and its seems like a never ending story to me.  My children have been behaving good in the car with me in the car, especially Sean so i thought of buying him something as a treat.   We went to Karamunsing Complex last week,  we bring them to RCH Chicken Rice.. they didnt finished their food, imagine while we were eating Sean and Chrissa went out to the toys shop nearby.  They are so eager to check out the toys, me and hubby took turn to check on them, we didn’t really finished the meal… i dont need weight loss pills to lose weight, running and eating at the same time does the trick.

As promised, a treat for Sean… ‘Ultraman Toy’… now the biggest from his other ultramans toys.

First day got the Ultraman… he got so excited until he slept with the toy….

Oh well… my Chrissa take her turn playing with this Ultraman!!..

Need Bigger Screen TV?

Aug-4-2008 By shirley

Another tired weekend with only me and my two kids. Well, no more complaint.. mummy got to do what mummy got to do. Its hard to wake them up everyday for schools but they woke up early that Saturday… oh my. I started my early Saturday as a referee for my children, fighting over their favourite programme, Sean want to watch his ‘Ultraman’s VCD, while Chrissa want to watch ‘Playhouse Disney‘. Their voices are louder than the TV volume… with high pitch.

My husband ever thought of buying a DLP tv but i am sure we going to watch more ‘drama’ from our children. Nowadays mummy and daddy only watched whatever our children watch… so you asked me to get a bigger screen… no thank you… i dont want to watch Ultraman fighting everyday. The only time i can watch my favourite programme when my children were sleeping and that time i can’t even concentrate… too sleepy!

A Date With My Hubby

Jul-22-2008 By shirley

Last week i had opened an account with Alliance Bank in Inanam, they issued ATM card for that purpose. I had been given an enveloped containing the pin number.. i fold and kept it in my bag for few days, so when i tear the enveloped i can’t read the last digit… oh my! oh me! silly, stupid me. At the same time, my road tax expired yesterday, i really had to renew it today.

Lucky my husband’s off day is today, so he will be my driver because.. i really hate to search for parking…. My niece not feeling well today, she got fever so i let her stay at home. Our first destination, send my son to school, i asked my husband to drop me in my office while he send my daughter to school. At 9.30am, we reached our second destination… the bank in Inanam.. the girl tried to help me recognizing the missing number and with few attempt still can’t get the right number, i ended up paying rm12.00 for a new ATM card… mann… stupid, silly me. My husband was waiting for me in the car and i was in the office for one hour or so… after everything done.. we rush to the next restaurant… wah so hungry.. ordered konomen.. i dont know how to spell that.. lol.. husband ordered kueh teow penang… aya.. should have ordered that one.. look testier than mine.. anyway i finished mine..

I supposed to be back to the office but it was already 11.30 am and there are still unsettled business. Next destination, renew my car insurance in Gaya.. you know its hard to find parking in that area, why can’t they find a good location with more parking space, i am sure there are good Outer Banks rentals somewhere. After we settled with the bank, we headed to Centre Point to get my hp, unfortunately the hp cant be fixed.. there go another story.

I wanted to wait for the insurance so we kill the time doing window shopping, i bought pooh’s colouring books and colour pencil for sean… mmm another collections for him. My husband wanted to buy me lunch but my tummy cant receive any food inside… so he bought me ice cream instead. At 1.30pm, my niece called me that she feel rashes all over her body and feels so itchy… So changed of plan, cant wait for the insurance, we had to go back to fetch her. We bought some fish and vegetables from the wet market before heading home.

Bring my niece to Clinic Malaysia in KK, Doctor gave her medicine and she had to take her blood sample, waited until 4.00 pm. Grab my road tax and insurance policy from the bank and straight fetch Sean and Chrissa whom are anxiously waiting for us. Phewww… my date with my hubby exactly like office hours.

I Miss Them Very Much

Jul-21-2008 By shirley

Its been 6 days without my parents and sister… staying in that big house make me feels so tired… My son have been changing clothes 3-4 times a day, he doesn’t want to wear his own clothes instead he wears his cousin’s clothes (Dawson and Daniel). Whenever he played on his own i can hear he mentioned … ‘Daniel!… ultraman’… ‘Dawson…. be careful’ ...i don’t know why but i am sure he missed them a lot.

My Chrissa also have been asking about Bridget, yesterday she heard children’s voice..coming from the neighbour’s house next door… she looked at me ‘mummy… nah ke’ke’ awson, nanel … nah mummy bridget’... oh i wanted to cry but i said.. they are all in Australia. I know she wondered why only us staying in that house, my children keep on asking me ‘where is mama?’, whenever i replied .. ‘Australia’… ‘mama?’, ‘mummyla?’.. they looked very sad.. in my heart sunken.. deeply missed them also.

I am counting the days… plus today, another 3 days to go.. I cannot imagine staying somewhere without my family members by my side. I had to use the blemish acne cream to cover my pimples that keep on popping out.. oh my.

Every night and day i pray for their safety, God’s protection and guidance… sending angels to be with them all the time. Help me and hear me Lord.

Carrying My Duties

Jul-19-2008 By shirley

My brother had asked my parents to take care of their house even before he and his family left to Adelaide, my parents did a great job looking after the house, my mum even plants vegetables and flowers, she created a small and nice garden.   What a deal, my brother paying, my parents staying, lucky he can postponed but i’m sure if he had alternative he might foreclosure the loan.

It not even a month after they left now my parents and sister enjoying themselves with the youth all over the world in Brisbane for 10 days, so guess what, i have been given a responsibily to take care of the house.  Not only the big, double storey house but also my sister’s car, my daddy’s car and …. my niece.  I missed my cozy, cute and small apartment, we will alternate our stay.  The best thing is this house located near to our offices and my son’s school but have to send my niece to college in the city.

I had to carry my duties, its my responsibility, thats what we do… help each other but this is a big responsibility.  Without realizing it, i have been checking her ‘where are you?’, ‘what time is your class?’, ‘what time are you coming back?‘ and i even nagged, i sound like my mother sometimes… lol..   I always heard my colleagues called their children at home ’sudah angkat kain?’ ’sudah mandi’?, ‘jangan lupa masak nasi’…. funny because the other day i called my niece saying familliar lines… so i know how it feels to have a teenager around.

Today i had to turned down a fantastic offer… ‘a ticket worth RM500 sponsored by my boss to a palliative care dinner …featuring ABBA (not the original one)  ‘  .. i wanted to go but my niece’s class end at 6.00pm today so i dont want her to go back by bus, its quite late.  Instead of having a fun dinner, i had to go to the city with my two kids but lucky i had my friend Juvi with me, since we are going to the same destination and i need a help to look after daughter, we had a safe journey.  I asked my niece to take a bus to go to Complex Asia City, so I was on my own with my two active kids in Asia City Complex running around the shopping complex, managed to make them sit down, had a drink and eat bun while waiting for my niece…but the best thing.. Sean had to go to the toilet… oh my.. he really had too… so funny if i think about it.  I dont know how to wash Sean when my daugther had to be carried all the time, lucky a good samaritan who was in the toilet talk to Chrissa while i wash Sean… phew…  At about 6.30pm i was so glad my niece managed to find where we were… another safe journey for us.  Its my responsibility so got to do my duty.

Having Pets

Jul-18-2008 By shirley

It usually excite my children whenever i told them we will be staying at my parent’s house. The first think on their mind was the cat that always waiting to be fed, it belong to nobody it just came their during lunch and dinner time, not sure where the shelter is. It will come to the kitchen sometimes for shelter. We feel bad for we cannot provide a good shelter for the cat. I am thinking to bring the cat to a pet clinic in the city to give it proper care and good shelter.

I came across a website that had an online community which helping pet owners and help pets too. Its a great idea to help us on how to take proper care of pets especially those whom are interested of having pets on their own. They also have different promotions to help pet shelters, they doing a job with a good cause.

I would let my children have pet on their own in the future, it will teach them about loving, caring and responsibility, but i will make sure that they are ready before start having one, its not an easy task.

Chrissa would love to have a cat as her pet and i am sure the cat will be named ‘Barbie’.. exactly… we will see about that.

I will get a dog for Sean as his pet… i hope he wont named it ‘Ultraman’...May be if i move to a new house which have a big area, it wont be a problem to have pets around. It would be chaos but fun and definitely full of love.

Mummy Vs Ultraman

Jul-17-2008 By shirley

I wanted to do my assignments or at least update my blog from home last night but my son really irritate me. It is impossible to do things with my children around, so i try to put them to sleep, i managed to put Chrissa to sleep but Sean insist that he wants to watch Ultraman’s VCD, he have been watching few ultraman’s VCD without getting bored. My nephew had a lot of Ultraman’s VCD collections, so Sean really got excited with that, even at home he got a few collection of Ultramans and Power Rangers’ VCDs.

I was sleeping next to Chrissa, while Sean trying to persuade me to let him watch VCD and it was 11.00pm. Sean was still jumping on the bed, talking to himself pretending that he is the Ultraman for a moment and next you know he become power ranger. I let him kick or whatever thing he does, he even kicked me a few times but i was aware of his action, so i let the ultraman down.

I pretend myself sleeping at the same time i was protecting Chrissa from his brother’s kick but without any warning, he kicked me right on my stomach… i feel like kicking him back.. patience keep me calm… this time his daddy lose control and gave Sean a bit of scolding. Without saying anything, Sean a.k.a ultraman just lie down near me covering his face, he was crying and at the same time pinching my hand.

I was so angry with Sean and i told him if ever i saw ultraman i will chase him out of the house. If i ever meet ultramans, whatever ultraman tiga, ultraman nexus, ultraman dyna, i really going to give them a piece of mind… i’m sure they flash drive on their chest will blink blink… getting help from somewhere else.

He finally fall asleep i guess around 1.00am. I changed my mind about updating my blog and straight go to sleep.
