Crossroad

When we reach at the Crossroad.. we get confused on which path to go. Are we choosing the right career? is this what we want in life? We have so many questions.. but the only person who can give you the answer..is you..yourself my friend.

I was asked by Youth Prep Center to be part of their Crossroad program in Pukak, Kiulu 21-23 October 2011. My honor to be part of youths and in helping them finding their path in career.

Sharing my knowledge to youths is part of my goal, besides helping them i also get the chance to have my ‘me’ time. I had time to be away from my work for awhile.. and the stress at home..haha.. even for a day.. everybody deserves that ‘time out’.

It will not complete without asking them to ‘move’.. to the music.. well the floor are as alloc original, no problem to be the dance floor.

Oh ya.. we use the word ‘WHATEVER’ a lot.. for certain interesting reasons… To me after saying ‘WhatEver’..as a phrase with them.. is not only a words..but become a sweet memory..whenever i heard or i say ‘Whatever’.. it reminds me of that great days with them.

The Students Retreat in Kokol

Continuation of Beautiful Kokol on my earlier post…..

After i received my NS-NLP Certification and being a NS-NLP Practitioner, i wonder what am i going to do with that certificate what i aimed for and beginning to think of my marketing strategy and the cost that i will charge.

I started giving motivation talks to teenagers at my cousin’s learning center and doing my own personal coaching/study skills at home for 1-4 person at a time only and with minimal charges. I do that to gain experience and sharing my knowledge. Since i am giving motivation also, my husband are kind enough to check prices for vga to hdmi cables to make easier for me to do slide presentation and video to be connected to TV which have bigger screen.

I ever visualized myself talking in front of a large crowd.. and well.. it does come true. I asked God to help me spread good news my way with HIS guidance.. and i did..

At the House of God…

The biggest Cross i have ever seen.. you can see this from far… you can never missed this Church.

The first session we did it at the back of the Church.. as you can see.. it is all covered by zinc from roof to the wall..but most of it is open area. Of all the thing i asked for is … fan. I was stressed because it was hot, started to get headache..because of the heat..i forgotten that i will be talking to 80 students.

I was standing in front alone.. i can move..but imagine these participants…

I managed to get them relax with the help of my stress reliever.. ‘MUSIC’.. yeah..mm got carried away a little while..blame it to the music

Lunch..of course provided… Evelyn and Daniel from Youth Prep Center (YPC) as part of the organizer for the retreat.

Aha! i saw one..

I don’t know how was i able to present in front of 80 students.. active participants.. i was nervous at first.. but God answered my prayer..before i did my presentation.. i asked God to let HIM used me entirely to be HIS Channel of love.. to share to them my experience even some were my secret that not to be told.. but i allowed GOD to be the center of my mind, body and spirit.

I just hope they gain something and may God bless these wonderful active teenagers.

Beautiful Kokol Menggatal

I was requested to give a motivation talk for students preparing for their exam in Kokol, Menggatal on 16 September. Kokol? i heard about this place so many times.. i heard about the road going there.. its high.. some says worse than the road going to Ranau. Few days before the retreat, my hubby drive me there.. we were surprise of the existence of such beautiful place with beautiful scenery… but even though it was beautiful, i got headache and fever that night.

I was thinking..how am i going to drive to Kokol? My husband will be working … Well..i am going there to motivate this students.. before giving them the motivation..i should motivate myself.. indeed i did… i even conquered my own fear of driving on the high road.. with snake curve.. Even though the road is scary at times but the beauty of the place motivates me to reach my destination.

There are so many beautiful scenery but my niece was so dizzy to take pictures.. some of the picture can used as template for holiday cards… or any post cards.

I drove to Kokol with my cousin and her friends… check out the picture of the journey….

Your Job is Your Business

How good if we can receive cash advances in any job before we even done doing it, especially in business. I am sure we usually take deposit once we agree on doing any business..usually 10% from the whole amount..but depending on what business we are dealing with. If you are a tailor, you don’t really need big amount of deposit but if you are a dealing with an event.. you might consider asking for more deposit…or else you need to dig your own pocket money.. worse if your customer doesn’t pay..well that’s happen…can’t trust people these days.

I love doing business..but my weaknesses is when asking for payment.. i should just stick with my job until i learn to be strict on asking money..i will consider doing business.

My job is my business at the moment. If you do your job as your business..you will perform better and you will love your job each day.. you will have pleasure working not just waiting to get paid at the end of the month.

For those who is doing your own business.. and those working for others..’ ‘all the best and don’t work hard but work smart.

Trip to Kipandi Butterfly Park

I have prepared a mind map for my family.. only a brief one .. it will be my guide for our monthly activities for my family, my children especially. I want them to enjoy life.. make appreciate life and teaching them of life balance from the early age.

In a month they will have visits to library, jog in a park, stay over at their grandparents, visit relatives, play games or lunch/dinner in a shopping mall.. and ‘Surprise Trip’ a trip to a new place… I make sure i arrange something to make them looking forward for something new.

We just started this ‘ surprise trip’ this year..it doesn’t mean its an expensive or a far destination… it can be a new park or to the wet market .. surprise!.. ‘hey look at the crabs’!.. ‘mummy! That is a big fish’…

Our first trip was to Perdana Park, a new recreational park that just officially opened.. and we will sure go there again… and just last week we went all the way to Kipandi Park. I only knew about this from the Sabah Tourism’s website.. I don’t even know Sabah have our own Butterfly Park besides the one in Hot Spring. It was an enjoyable experience.. and we took lots of pictures.. We just love to see the pictures.. from pc to tv cables .. it is indeed interesting to watched your family on tv rather then from the camera nor the pc… more bigger, clearer and fun.

A Space For Creativity

I just feel so relieve that i managed to clear clusters in the small room we have at home. I have been trying to get it arranged for so many years. It have been a junky room.. all the tools boxes, magazines, unfilled documents, recycle papers are all in there.. it was just a mess..until few weeks ago with the help of my mum preparing lunch.. ..i really managed to cleared it without disturbance from my children. Tools boxes packed and kept on the top shelf.. toys kept in boxes.. unwanted toys, documents.. boxes.. were thrown.

My husband help me rearranging the study table, cabinet.. our pink sofa. I called the room the office @ reading room… we even put in chrissa and sean’s cabinet books in. We arranged the laptop, speaker, cds, scanner.. the only important thing missing is the printer… I really need to get one of the epson printers on sale this weekend. Once i get that printer… it will be easier for me to do my work.

Hopefully the new clean environment can create creative ideas in my work.

On Leave but Working..

Most parents are busy these weeks..especially today.. and especially those sending their children for the first time to kindergarten and primary one. Even my son is in primary two.. me and husband still worry about him.. and we are sending our 5 years old daughter to a new kindergarten with Mandarin medium. We both took leave for this and i am also taking the opportunity to clear up my office at home. I really need time to clear some mess.. and i still haven’t get a printer yet.. and now i need a Velo binding to add to my office equipments.

I hope i can really get it done during my leaves.. or else..need to take another day off to set up my home office.. till then..another chores waiting.

Another Digital Camera Please!

I love window shopping..especially at this time..everywhere you go you will see.. ‘SALES!..SALES!.. Different color tags everywhere just to mark 20%, 40%, 50% and even 70% in each items.

My favorite area is at the kids’ corner.. toys, stationery, and also at the Ladies section.. but now i love to check out at the electronic area .. i saw sales on digital cameras.. mmm temptation. I have my own digital camera but if i can find a cheap one i want to buy for my children.

My children love taking pictures, they have their own style in taking pictures ..which sometimes i sees as creative. We will have more adventurous journey and let them take pictures ..this will make them appreciate nature more. Who knows the picture they take can make money.. might be just a picture for us.. but might be a master piece for others.

Submitting Blogs In Directory

I feel there is a need to get my blogs in a directory submission service. But i am not sure which directory submission service is good.. i guess i just need do some survey here.

I am aware of how important to put my blog in a directory.. i need to get the more traffic coming.. the more traffic the more money it attracts.

Besides that i need to work hard to give a good impressions and great content.. and these means i need to sacrifice more time on my blogs.
