I could not depend on my monthly salary… but at least i got a fix income… there is always a need to find other source to get extra income.. money is never enough.  For those who are in business.. they really need to work hard to find money… some got it easy … some find it difficult.. whatever it is..we need money.

They say…Money is the root of all evil… money is an item.. well with value  but.. it is not a living thing.. its up to the person who earn … and how they  spend it.. become evil.. how evil could it be..? overspending end up burden in debt.. then we call money evil..have we forgotten how money makes us happy.. we spend our family in a vacations, purchased our vehicles, property, if you have enough money.. u can buy metal buildings for long terms investments… so many things money can do to make us happy.

To me money is not evil at all… money oh money!… i need money, i love money, i save money and i spend money… Money oh Money!

Sometimes… i realized that i have this tendency of doing things.. undone…or halfway done.. or taking time to be done..i want to have the right time.. and the right mood.  When it comes to art.. i feel like i want to start doing a project..that is making earrings…i have done this in 2007 and i managed to get good money from there.. i have asked my bestfriend to sell it.. and she sold it..she got discount from her purchased… i remember she asked me to make 6 sets of different color of earrings and bracelet made by glass pearls for her family gifts… if not because of her demand i will just stop and give up.

I remember i told a friend that i will start my project..selling my handmade earrings early this year… and yet its end of the year.. i have not done anything.  My problem is putting price on the item.. never mind if its cheap but i am afraid if its too expensive… i calculated the price of the items..and the workmanship..if it’s simple should be no problem but some work of art need focus and its time consuming..well it’s easier if  i can use barcode scanner on the price tag.

No promises..but i really hope to start the beading project again.

I started blogging since September 2007… this year will be my 2nd year of being a blogger… still new.. and need to learn more..need more traffice.    I am sure i have written about this on my 1st year anniversary as a blogger..hehe.. well i love talking about it again and again…no harm.  It was so funny when i remember.. myself introducing myself to other bloggers.. just say ‘hi, nice blog’.. hahaha.. and blog hop everytime i had the chance.  I have limited time to bloghop nowadays.. but i try my best to say ‘hi’ to other bloggers..without them.. we are no blogger..we need each other.

I am proud to be a blogger..not only i get extra money but also met bloggers whom are now my friends… interesting.  The best part is.. i am able to express my ideas and sharing tips with others.  I am forever thankful to my best friend’s Husband who introduced me to this wonderful world of blogging…he is the first one to give comment..hehe.

Even though i have two blogs but i can only maintain 1 blog at the moment.. the other one still hanging tough..haha.. haven’t had much time to fashion right now.  I seen bloggers who have more than 2 blogs, others 5-10 blogs.. wow!.. how did they do that? they must have time doing the writing.. and so many things in their head.. so many ideas.. wow! to these bloggers.. salute to them.

Having a blog is a ‘must’ in this era.. its  like having a personal diary or a journal.. and whatever we write right now..at this moment.. will be history in the future..and yet you can see how far did you go.. how much did you write.. and maybe..’damn why did i wrote that?’… lol… anything can happened.

Blogging is not just about being personal, nowadays.. it become a trend and also business…they have tips about parenting, motherhood, fashion, personal development,  financial planning, IT related.. so many.. its all about sharing information..  if you needed term life insurance you can just check online and some blogger give their tips on that area too.

As for now.. i am enjoying myself… i usually sketch, sketch, sketch… i still do that..but not as often as before.. now i enjoy reading books..  but i will never stop writing.. i will write! write! write! its fun and i enjoy it.  I am not a good writer but i hope what i write can inspire others to be a blogger.   It is also my hope that you will always visit my blog.. as i always welcome you to give comment.

Having no boss for three months… giving me the opportunity to attend in-house training and seminar without worrying who’s  going to replace me while i’m away.

During that period i attended 2 days in-house workshop  on emotional intelligence (EQ) in Leadership  in May, that would be my first in-house workshop since i transferred there.. its like an introduction for me to other staffs.. able to cooperate with them and worked as a team… its was interesting.

Last month, me and other Personal Assistants  attended Motivation for PAs/Secretaries/Admins using NLP Method in Hyatt.  I have seen book about NLP but dont really know what it was.. until that day.  NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming is an extremely powerful concept.  It  contain the most accessible, positive and useful aspects of modern psychology, and so can be helpful in virtually every aspect of personal and inter-personal relations. NLP has many beneficial uses for self-development, and for businesses and organizations; for example NLP enables better communications in customer service, and all types of selling.  NLP enables better awareness and control of oneself, better appreciation of the other person’s feelings and behavioural style, which in turn enables better empathy and cooperation.

I find NLP very interesting.. and i am reading, surfing and learning slowly about this.. .i just want to learn the basic and practic the theory.  A person who master NLP skill or method can actually loss weight without taking any best weight loss pill, how you may ask? just using their mind… the mind body connection… using NLP method..you are able to delete or erase the memory that haunted you for years.. using mind.  Its kind of weird and sometimes it sound like psycic but actually its mind control.. if you never heard about this..join me seach the answer or better still if you have the money.. get a practioner to coach you.

One day.. i will master this NLP and be a certified NLP coach.. its not only benefit myself in terms of career, financial but also will help me to help others..that is my dream… i will achieve this goal.

I wanted to post about this but i was having problem loading the pictures…. even though its few days late but love to share it with you guys.  On Monday, we went to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (or Lokkawi Zoo) which is located at old Penampang-Papar road, about 15km from Kota Kinabalu city.  It open daily from 9.30 am-5.30 pm.. its a nice place to visit with family especially during school holiday or weekend.

We arrived at 10.30 am.. my family plus my nephew Gerard.. kids got so excited.. picture taken .. beginning of our journey.. chrissa still have time to give her best pose.

Admiring the elephants.. there were playing while bathing .. so cute.. i caught it in my video camera.. other visitors also using their camcorders to capture the moment.

There are so many to see..the Borneo and Malaysia wild animals such as orang utan, proboscis monkey, Asian elephant, rhino, hornbill birds, tiger, etc.

Almost at the end of the journey, Sean keep going strong..checking on the map..on what animal to see next.. while Chrissa can’t go on.. ‘mummy, i want susu’.. hehe.. she got so tired..she can’t walk..and neither do i.. too heavy to carry her.   We were there for 2 hours i guess and I just realized that we didn’t take photo of my husband aka the cameraman.. too busy taking others.. but i got him in the video but problem downloading.

Anyway, it was a nice, interesting, informative, tiring trip.. we were exhausted.. reaching home..clean up..everybody..sleep like a baby.

I love the month of May… and love that Labour Day falls on friday..so we got straight three days off…except for those working on shift or weekend.. this includes my hubby…mmm what to do.  Anyway.. couples taking this advantages to tie their knot during this weekend.. until we dont know where to go first..lol.

It will be special day for Mothers… its Mother’s day… i am still thinking..what, where, how to celebrate mother’s day.. i still have time to think and plan.. talk about that later.

Okay..our reunion with my best friends postponed again..with certain unavoided matters…haiya..don’t know lah when can we meet up..  I send my children to my parents’ house so that i can go out in the evening… instead i was alone at home.. so sunyi..but i managed to sort out their clothes and keep their small size/unwanted clothes in a bag.. i kept it somewhere..still thinking..to just keep it for a while or give away.

Anyway…May is the month where Sabahan have the most holidays in the calendar.. similar to all Malaysian but we have the Kaamatan or Harvest Festival.   May are one of the Peak Seasons.. so its hard to see economy hotels promotions during this month …if you really want to come to Sabah in May… i advice you to book your flight/hotel early to avoid paying extra.

May are full of colourful celebrations..every district will celebrate their Kaamatan and to crown their beauty gueen and these beautiful ladies will then contest in the final round on the 31st May … there you will see the new Hominodun .. Harvest Festival Beauty Queen. I dont really update with kaamatan these days..but i love to promote our ethnic and festivals to the eye of the world…come in May..you know what i mean.

Wednesday.. our trip to the Historical City..Melaka…  Our journey started at 9.00 am.. we reached there around 11.00 am..if i am not mistaken…     My Brother in-law was our tourist guide and driver on that day..thanks Patrick.

Our first destination….We climbed up the of St. Paul’s Hill where the St. Paul’s Church is situated, once the prayer house of the Portuguese Catholics, then turned into burial ground for their noble dead by the Dutch. The tombstones have Latin and Portuguese inscriptions on them. St. Francis Xavier was buried here in 1553 before his body was moved to Goa in India… check out melaka.net.

I was reluctant to climb at first because of my father in law but he did not give up… lol…  the weather was hot.. we were sweating… but kids having so much fun.. climbing up and down the stairs…

Resting for a while… took our brunch…by then i can’t hardly walk.. mummy so tired… in the shopping complex i admired a few unique tv stands that was on sale.. mmm.. anyway we walked to the ‘revolving Gyro Tower’… Menara Taming Sari.. its quite a long distance.. phew.

The ticket price were reasonable… my father in-law decided to stay on the ground while all of us enjoy the ride… at first i thought my kids would get nervous but instead they were enjoying more than i do…i am scared of height.. odoi..bikin malu..

Everybody were tired…bought souvenirs …went to St. Francis Xavier Church.. and drove back home… we reach home at 5.00pm… enough for a day… we enjoyed the trip.. and got our good rest at night.

We wanted to bring kids to the zoo .. we have been talking about it before the trip but we heard a lots of negative feedback.. so we decided to the Aquaria in KLCC.

We went there on Monday… it was interesting, educational, informative, fun… what else.. enjoyable trip.

I was reading the NST yesterday about Sipadan nominated as the new 7 wonders of the world in the nature category… wow that makes me proud.  The article about Sipadan was in the NST again today and it was nicely written by our own Jaswinder… as she wrote…

Pulau Sipadan is one of 261 nominees in the New7Wonders of Nature online campaign, alongside Ko Phi Phi in Thailand, the Maldives, the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls on the Canada-United States border and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.  A panel of experts will reduce the list to 21 on July 21.

So friends.. let vote for Sipadan, just log on to new7wonder.com. I will bring my family especially my kids to explore the Sipadan water.. well need to learn how to swim and dive.. will wait until they are big enough.

Other than dreaming of having my own boutique, i love to be an Event Planner, especially for birthday and wedding. Starting from budget, the venue, theme, dress, makeup.. wow interesting.. and stressful at the same time.. no doubt about it.. talk about make customer’s satisfaction.

I have two wedding invitations this coming May.. i have promised my best friend to help her at his brother’s wedding, to put makeup for the flower girls.. ah easy weesy.. lol.. and the other invitation are from my colleague and have asked me to do her makeup.. but i have not agreed, i have not done bride makeup for a year.. i have no confident yet..need to practice my skills.

My friend a.k.a the future bride are going to be busy planning and arranging for the ‘Big Day’.. to make it less stressful it would be easier to let the Event Planner do it but of course you need big budget on that.  On the other hand, if you have trusted friends or family, just delegate them with job and let them carry their duties, save cost.   I have just agreed to do gift box for 500pax..lol.. i know i will find somebody to help me.

So if you are ready to get married and want to make it a real ..perfect ‘big day’.. hire a Wedding/Event Planner but if you love having friends and family to make a happy ..simple ‘big day’... do it yourself.
