I often read articles and tips about budgeting.. its all about saving for the future. The expert says save more money for the future and spend less today… I would love save more if i could but if i do that.. i couldn’t spend much today. Everything is money today, you go to any toilet in a shopping mall ..you will be charged 20-30 cents per entry… even a glass of plain water cost 30 cent. I do not shop for clothes unless there is a sale going on or unless it is really necessary.
Buying groceries usually once or twice in two months.. even less items cost more money. What else?..bills..bills..and lots of bills… from basic needs.. water, electricity, home mortgage..and other necessity.. Astro and internet line (simple excuses for having this.. latest information). Not forgetting children needs.. school fees, tuition, books.. and other activity.
No doubt we need to save money for the future and enjoy the investment later on.. but we also need to enjoy our money today..just a balance of enjoying our present and future. If we are too obsess about controlling and budgeting today for the sake of tomorrow.. how could you enjoy today.. and if you reached ‘tomorrow’.. you have wasted yesterday.
There are people who work hard and they don’t even have much time to be with their little kids.. their excuses are.. getting money for our children when they grow up.. but what about now? …the time when they are still little and need attention?
I say.. enjoy our life the fullest.. we can plan about anything in the future..but God have their own plan.. and we don’t know what and when. Enjoy life.. embrace today with happiness.. and spend wisely. Be creative in everything.. if you thought bringing your kids to a shopping mall will make you spend more and you will end up feeding them unhealthy but fast food.. change it once a while.. bring them to the beach.. picnic.. bring your own sandwich..bring your traveler guitar.. sing along with them.. wouldn’t that be great? Life are meant to be cherished.
Save appropriately.. spend wisely and enjoy life greatly!
